She graduated with her master's degree in Counseling, with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy, from Idaho State University and has worked as an individual/couples/family counselor in a variety of clinical settings. Her motto: "Relationships are vital; with others and with ourselves". Here are a few words from Maria about her approach and expertise..

My Story

I assist individuals, couples, and families with rebuilding trust, advocating for their "space", and acknowledging their worth. Tools that will be explored are communication skills, boundary settings without guilt, and building our emotional intelligence. My hope for clients is to empower themselves to not only understand their needs and wants but to live their life as best as possible.

My strongest strength I can provide is my attentiveness to details and tracking my clients stories and needs. I hope that I have showed my skills with active listening and identifying patterns to help client develop insights of their own stories, feelings, and experience.

I am here for my clients, and I value my clients goals, concerns, and emotions. I want my clients to feel safe and supported when they are speaking with me. Its a big step for my clients to trust a stranger, and I hope I can show them that I'm trustworthy and reliable.
